Jerry Dalessio

Uncle Jerry was with the 4th Division of the Army that stormed Utah Beach on D-Day. He was wounded twice but remained in action in Europe until the war ended.

All three Dalessio boys participated in World War II, Air Force, Navy, and Army. Each returned home and raised their families in South Hackensack. Our family is extremely proud of their contributions and we are thankful their deeds are being remembered on your website.

For his wounds on Utah Beach in combat Jerry Dalessio would have received the Purple Heart.
